SHREWSBURY, Massachusetts – On Tuesday March 12th, Holly Dion, Director of N.E.T. Works Production which is based at Southgate, presented a check for $200 to SELCO for the “Share the Warmth” program. This program is designed to provide financial aid to Shrewsbury low income residents to help defray the cost of their heating bill. This represented a portion of the proceeds from the fall show, “ The Scheme of the Driftless Shifter.”

Southgate is the home base for the theater which performs two shows a year there. The group’s mission is to provide theatrical entertainment utilizing both skilled and untapped talent ,at the same time donating a portion of the proceeds to local charities. Some of these have included the Senior Center, the Library, and St.Anne’s Food Pantry.
