SHREWSBURY, Massachusetts – Shrewsbury Credit Union, Shrewsbury Crossings, Heald & Chiampa Funeral Directors, and A.J. Tomaiolo’s Restaurant invite you and your friends to Calliope Productions Theater, Wednesday, April 24th, 12:30 p.m 150 Main St., Boylston for ‘Pillow Talk’, a 1950′s comedy hit starring Rock Hudson and Doris Day.
Jan Morrow (Doris Day) is a successful, content, self-reliant interior decorator who lives in New York City. She lives alone and claims to be quite happy, when questioned on that subject by her drunken housekeeper, Alma (Thelma Ritter). Due to the state of the telephone company’s development, she has to use a party line, which she shares with Brad Allen (Rock Hudson), a talented, creative Broadway composer and playboy.
Jim Heald of Heald & Chiampa Funeral Directors says, “It promises to be a great day at Calliope Theater in Boylston! It’s a classic movie being shown and will be reminiscent of days gone by for so many who attend.” Lisa Tomaiolo of AJ’s Restaurant in neighboring Northborough adds, “It’s a great way to give back to the people who have made our communities a better place to live.” Admission and refreshments are free.
