SHREWSBURY, Massachusetts – As we all come back from our Thanksgiving weekend, other families are still in anguish over their unfathomable loss. As we reported earlier, 22 year old Lindsey DeMoranville, of Grafton, was killed in a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Route 140 and Route 20. Her family, still struggling from another loss a few months ago, doesn’t have sufficient funds to cover the funeral cost, and is reaching out for whatever help we might be able to provide. Hopefully, you will join me in making a donation, so that this family can bury their daughter, and move on with the grieving process.
You can view their note below, with instructions for the donation.
It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to the community here. On Wednesday November 27th the life of Grafton resident Lindsey DeMoranville was cut tragically short in a motor vehicle accident on Route 20 at the intersections of 20 and 140 in Shrewsbury.
Lindsey was a beautiful, vibrant 22 year old daughter, sister, mother and friend. She was cherished by all she touched.
Lindsey’s family is now facing the immeasurable pain of losing her and this tragedy is compounded by the fact that just four short months ago they lost Lindsey’s young son Justin to SIDS.
As anyone can imagine, the heartbreak of losing both their daughter and their grandson is more then most can bear. This loss is compounded because now they have to pay for funeral expenses/final arrangements again in such a short time frame. A memorial fund has been set up by family friends to help Lindsey’s family with the funeral expenses and donations can be made by sending checks to:
