SHREWSBURY, Massachusetts – Yes, contrary to what some may think, we Boston fans actually have class. I can still remember that magical day when Nomar returned to Boston for the first time, in that ugly green Athletics uniform – so out of place for a Boston hero….and received a standing O from the Boston faithful.

Certainly tonights big game between the Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets was always going to be a great contest. After all, these two legendary teams are the stuff that dreams are made of, and the Garden is, of course, hallowed ground. What we may lack in having Jay Z and Beyonce sitting court side, we more than make up in passion and spirit.

Proving once again that Boston never forgets it’s legends, the Celtics put together an amazing tribute that left nary a dry eye in the house, and isn’t that just how it should be? Granted, I still haven’t the foggiest idea why we got rid of these guys in the first place, but then in my next life as the GM of a major sports team, perhaps I’ll have better insight into such things.

Until then, I wanted to share these tow great tribute videos with you. The first is from his farewell tribute, and the video below is from tonights tear-jerking ceremonies…. Enjoy!!
