WIN (Work Initiative Network) program on Wednesday, April 23, 6:30-8 PM Jericho Road Project – A volunteering Opportunity by Jolene Jennings
Jericho Road connects volunteer experts with nonprofits that offer critical services to underserved residents in their communities. In addition to volunteer matching, Jericho Road also trains and places corporate leaders on nonprofit boards through our Leadership Connection Program. Jolene Jennings, Director of the Worcester branch, has twenty years producing visible impact in the nonprofit sector in Worcester County. She has created, enhanced and managed organizational structure and effectiveness in areas of anti-hunger, entrepreneurship, elder services, self-sufficiency, and volunteerism, and has been a dedicated advocate for girls and women’s personal and professional development since 2002. She will talk about what Jericho Road Worcester does and how people can use their professional skills to volunteer and stay involved at nonprofits in need between employment.

Cooking With Food Allergies by Paula Castner, Wednesday, April 23, 7-8:45 PM
Paula Castner offers a program of healthy alternatives for people with food allergies and dietary restrictions. She has decades of experience in dealing with these and other food-related issues. Paula has discovered ways to make cakes, cookies, breads, etc., that meet a variety of dietary needs while satisfying our wish for something tasty and sweet. Her workshop will include samplings of tasty desserts and handouts to take home. Free to all interested, but registration is required. Register online or by calling 508-841-8533.
