SHREWSBURY, Massachusetts -The Master Singers of Worcester invites singers to attend open rehearsals at the First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury in early September. Rehearsals will be in preparation for their upcoming concert on Sunday, December 7, 2014, entitled “Myriad Colors,” featuring diverse works celebrating color in both sound and text, including the popular contemporary Mass in Blue by the English composer Will Todd, with the WPI Jazz Band and soprano soloist Monica Hatch. Singers in all voice parts are welcome to attend open rehearsals and may audition at the end of the rehearsal on Tuesdays, 9/2, 9/9 and 9/16, or schedule an audition by phoning 508-842-1349, or emailing email@example.com. The Master Singers of Worcester currently includes about 45 members drawn from Worcester and surrounding communities. The chorus is directed by Malcolm Halliday, Minister of Music at First Congregational Church, where rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings at 7:15 PM.
