SHREWSBURY, Massachusetts – STEM Beginnings is a start-up company in Shrewsbury that promotes fun and exciting programs focused on building and sustaining interest in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). It caters to young children (ages 3-8 years old) as STEM-related concepts are introduced through effective instruction and enjoyable activities during a child’s early years. The goal is to stimulate young minds and inspire them to create and cultivate curiosity toward these disciplines.
After offering its first ever class in Shrewsbury in September last year, local residents Euclid and Barbara Jorda have seen almost half a thousand children experienced the fun of STEM learning through their programs. Starting this Fall, the “STEM is Fun” programs will be offered in almost 20 different towns and schools across Massachusetts. They hope to continue to help in shaping our children’s intellectual development, opportunities for future study, and choices of career, as well as their capability to make informed decisions in the future.
“STEM is Fun” programs by STEM Beginnings are offered locally through the Shrewsbury Child Development Committee (SCDC). Please email email@example.com
