Christmas Lunch at Shrewsbury Senior Center

SHREWSBURY, Massachsuetts – On Friday, December 13th at 11:30AM, State Representative Matthew Beaton will host a Christmas Luncheon that will take place at the Shrewsbury Senior Center located at 98 Maple Ave. There will be live entertainment provided as well as a delicious ham dinner and assortment of desserts and coffee. The event is free. Those who are interested in attending are encouraged to sign up at the front desk at the Senior Center by December 9th.

“I’m excited to be able to offer this wonderful event to our seniors again this year and continue this tradition here at the Senior Center this holiday season. I’m also thrilled that Malcolm Halliday will be back again to provide the live entertainment for all to enjoy,” said Beaton. “As always, I enjoy catching up with the folks and staff at the Senior Center, especially during this wonderful time of the year to find out what everyone is up to.”

This year’s entertainment will again be provided by Malcolm Halliday. Halliday is a concert pianist, organist and conductor, who lives in Worcester. He has been the Minister of Music for 23 years at the First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury, where he directs one of the largest and most active music ministries in central Massachusetts. He is also Artistic Director and Conductor of the community chorus, the Master Singers of Worcester.
