SHREWSBURY, Massachusetts – EverPresent, which helps families digitize media collections and share memories across generations, has hired Beth Cameron
as its new MetroWest consultant.
Cameron will serve families in Hopkinton, where she resides, as well as Ashland, Framingham, Grafton, Holliston, Milford, Natick, Northborough, Southborough, Sherborn, Shrewsbury, Westborough and Upton. She will be visible in the community this summer, greeting families at the Hopkinton Farmers Market and at the Royal Arts and Crafts Festival in Marlborough in October, among other local events.
An experienced sonographer, Cameron brings a background in medical imaging, technology, education and project management to her new position. She currently serves as a part-time sonographer at Radiology Associates of Norwood, and worked previously as a Senior Clinical Applications Specialist with GE Healthcare, in its Boston territory. She has also served as a Clinical Supervisor at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
“Beth has vast experience working with families, as a healthcare professional, and we’re excited she’s bringing her skills to our company,” EverPresent CEO Eric Niloff said. “She’s passionate about family and images, and extremely tech-savvy. We know she’ll be a huge asset to her MetroWest neighbors, by helping them preserve and share their memories.”
EverPresent, which aims to bring families closer through memory preservation, is committed to hiring local consultants immersed in their communities. The company takes an old-fashioned approach to its high-tech service, offering in-home consultations and dedicated one-on-one service. “People have great options when it comes to preserving material wealth through local insurance agents, estate planners and investment advisors,” Niloff said. “But when it comes to preserving memories and stories, which are truly irreplaceable, that level of service has been nonexistent. EverPresent is changing that, and we are so honored to do such important work for families.”
Beth Cameron is one of three new consultants joining the company’s team this month. Consultants meet with clients in-person to assess their unique needs – whether it’s creating a photo memory book or slideshow for a special occasion or archiving historic family videos, film reels, slides, scrapbooks and photos.
“Serving as an EverPresent consultant is an excellent business opportunity for parents,” Niloff said. “It’s flexible and allows our consultants to build on what they already love – strengthening families and communities. It’s intellectually challenging. And consultants enjoy the satisfaction that comes from helping people solve a problem.”
Modern families are inundated with “digital clutter” – thousands of disorganized pictures and videos building up on laptops, cameras and smartphones. They also inherit historic collections. As these images pile up – in devices or boxes in the closet – families stress about how to properly preserve and share these irreplaceable memories.
Cameron said she’ll enjoy helping MetroWest families create beautiful ways to display their precious images. “I come from a large family, surrounded by pictures and photo albums full of life and experiences,” she said. “It’s simply who I am. You can trust I will provide a seamless experience and personal care with people’s most precious assets, and help them find creative ways to enjoy and share them for years to come.”
