More Shrewsbury post-nemo photos…

The Fallon mansion on Prospect Street has seen many a snow fall

SHREWSBURY, Massachusetts – So hopefully you’ve all recovered nicely from the blizzard of 2013.  For many of us, aside from all the snow blowing, it was actually a nice relaxing couple of days.  I don’t know about you guys, but I was very impressed with the work of the highway department this time. So many nearby communities lost power, and were out of school today just trying to manage the cleanup, whereas here in Shrewsbury, things have moved along with pretty much flawless precision.

I wanted to share with you some pics I took on Saturday, just for fun.   Sometimes I think we forget just how amazing this town of ours is, and there are few times it looks as pretty as after a nice snowfall.

Nobody working at town hall today

A silent witness, honoring our soldiers

I just love town center, it’s so photogenic

Cross country ski teams welcome

The Artemas Ward mansion, and the famed Lafayette Sycamore tree

Dean Park waiting to be plowed out

The Moali farm on Walnut Street

Olde Shrewsbury Village, and a very empty Route 9

Is this picturesque or not?

I dare you to try to sit on that bench today.
