Shrewsbury Youth Hockey Program Opens

SHREWSBURY, Massachusetts – The Shrewsbury Youth Hockey Learn to Play Hockey and Learn to Skate Programs are open for registration.
The House League is Shrewsbury Youth Hockey’s Learn to Play Hockey Program. This program teaches basic hockey skills to children ages 4 to 7. The program includes skating and hockey skills instruction and hockey games. No prior skating or hockey experience is required.  Full Hockey equipment is needed.
The program runs from October 2011 through February 2012 and begins on October 29th at Buffone Arena, Lake Ave., Worcester.   It takes place on Saturdays from 8 – 9 am and Sundays from 8:15 to 9:20 am.   It runs  for 17 weeks.  Click the link below for more information.
This Learn to Skate program uses professional skating instructors from the Skating Club of Worcester to children ages 4 to 17. Hockey or Figure Skates and helmets are required (bike helmets ok). There are skate rentals available for 4 dollars.
Session 1 takes place on October 21, 28 and November 4, 11, 18.  Sessions are Friday nights from 6:00 PM to 6:50 PM at Buffone Arena, Lake Ave., Worcester and the cost is 105 dollars for the first session and 90 dollars and for any subsequent session.  Click the link below for more information.
