The winner of the 2014 Shrewsbury Farmers Market t-shirt and market bag design contest is Emma Szal.  Emma, age 8, is in third grade at Coolidge School.  Her design depicts a farmer on his tractor in the field with a blue sky and sun.  “Farmers are important, and I thought it was a good idea to include them,” said Emma.  Farming is part of Emma’s family history, as her great grandfather owns Berberian Farms. Her future goal is to become an artist or an illustrator.

Become a Family Flock sponsor of the Shrewsbury Farmers Market by donating $25 and receive a market bag with Emma’s design.  Visit our website at www.shrewsburyfarmersmarket.com for all the details.  See you at our grand opening on Wednesday, July 9th at Ski Ward Ski Area from 3-6:30 p.m.
