SHREWSBURY, Massachusetts – Can a pumpkin really be turned into a carriage or some mice into horses?  Come and watch the magic happen as 81 cast and crew members from Sherwood Middle School bring you The Return of the Glass Slipper.

Audience members will be swept along on a journey to Once Upon a Time in a Land Far Away……where nothing is quite the way we remember it to be.  The story, set in modern day, is the retelling of Cinderella with a twist.

Directed by Shrewsbury native Nathan Colby with music direction by Deborah Bonneu this show will be a treat for all ages.  Our young thespians have been rehearsing since early October.  There has been a lot to learn in the weeks leading up to the final performances; new songs, lines memorized, dances, but through it all these 5th and 6th graders have learned how much fun theater can be.

The Return of the Glass Slipper will be performed at Oak Middle School Auditorium on Friday, December 13th and Saturday, December 14th at 7pm.  Oak Middle School Auditorium is located at 45 Oak Street in Shrewsbury.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens and can be purchased at the door.
