DJI introduces the Mavic Mini 2, a small 4K drone that fixes the main flaws of its predecessor

The Mavic Mini caused a stir when it was introduced last year. This very small drone (less than 250 grams) is indeed the first in its category to record 2.7 km in a flight range of 25 minutes. However, the device was not free from criticism: photos could be recovered in JPEG format alone, and the bit rate only reached 40 Mbit / s. The Mavic Mini 2 presented today significantly improves the photo / video part: in addition to native 4K, photos can be recorded in RAW format and videos at 4K / 30 fps (or Full HD / 60 fps) for a bit rate of 100 Mbit / s, not to mention the bracketing series for automatic exposure. However, the sensor is still that small (1 / 2.3 inch).

In addition, you need to know more about it.

The Mini 2 also gains in flight performance: the top speed increases to 56 km / h (compared to 46 km / h on the previous model) and the battery regains 6 additional minutes of autonomy (31 minutes compared to 25 minutes). The device can withstand wind speeds of 39 km / h. The DJI Mini 2 is available for sale on the DJI website at a price of 459 euros (with controller and battery) or 599 euros for the Fly More Combo package (three batteries, charging station and carrying case).
