Galaxy S21, S21 + and S21 Ultra: Huge leak reveals everything

A major leak reveals the main details of the Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Android Police Reveals Datasheet, Materials, and More.

The Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra have O1, T2 and P3 for code names from Samsung. They have in common:

Snapdragon 875 or Exynos 2100 chip depending on the region 5G, Bluetooth 5.1 screen with a display of 120 Hz Android 11 with the One UI 3.1 overlay Fast charging of 25 W (minimum)

The differences between the three Galaxy S21

The Galaxy S21 will have a 6.2-inch FHD + display (LTPS), a 4000 mAh battery and Wi-Fi 6. On the back there are three photo sensors: 12 megapixel main, 64 megapixel telephoto and ultra wide angle of 12 megapixels. The smartphone will be available in purple, pink, gray or white. The back will be made of plastic.

The Galaxy S21 + has a 6.7-inch FHD + display (LTPS) and a 4800 mAh battery. It will have the same three photo sensors as its little brother and also support Wi-Fi 6. For the colors it will be silver, black or purple.

On the side of the Galaxy S21 Ultra is a 6.8-inch WQHD + screen (LTPO) with a contrast ratio of 3,000,000: 1 and 1,600 nits. That’s 2,000,000: 1 and 1,400 nits on the Galaxy S20 Ultra. Four photo sensors are announced on the back: main sensor 108 megapixels, ultra wide angle 12 megapixels and two sensors 10 megapixels with optical zoom x3 and optical zoom x10. The phone also has a 5,000 mAh battery and 6E WiFi. It will be available in black or silver. In addition, its back will be made of glass.

S pen support like the Galaxy Note

Another special feature is the S Pen support. However, the pen would not be included in the scope of delivery (in contrast to the Galaxy Note series). Samsung will have other cases for sale to hold the S Pen in.

At the level of the Snapdragon 875 and Exynos 2100 chips, the performance would be more than similar. The Exynos 2100 (which Samsung will be deploying in Europe) will also make progress in power consumption compared to previous models.

8K for video recording on the Galaxy S21

For the video part, the three Galaxy S21 support 4K recordings at 60 frames per second. It will even be possible to film in 8K at 30 frames per second. In addition, Samsung offers stabilization for recording at 60 frames per second. It is also possible to record with the front camera and the rear camera at the same time. Upon arrival, the two videos can stand side by side. Otherwise the two files can be saved separately.

For the photo part, Samsung is offering improvements for night mode. There will be additional manual checks.

In addition, the Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 support Ultra Ultra Wide Band (UWB). Smartphones can be used as car keys. The technology is also used to find products.

Galaxy S21 release date

Samsung will unveil its Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra in January, if you believe the rumors in the hallway. Rumors also suggest a lower price compared to the Galaxy S20 line at launch.
