We already told you in our test of the first PlayStation 5 showcase. Most of the third party games that are “exclusive” to the PS5 are temporarily exclusive … more or less well hidden. These temporary bans affect not only the PC, but the Xbox Series X as well. Some leaked screenshots suggested that the next Final Fantasy or even the remaster of Demon’s Souls from Bluepoint Games would end up in Series X. We might as well assume ‘the same goes for Godfall, a looter slasher announced for PS5 and PC (via the Epic Games Store).
But here it is: Gearbox Software’s launch trailer for the new title clearly shows that PS5 exclusivity has been set for a 6 month period, which obviously means the game will land without too much delay from that limit on Xbox Series X and Series S. While there are still some exclusive next-generation balls in the PS5’s pocket (starting with Astro and Spider-Man Morales), we realize here that Sony’s announcements were indeed a bit of a “trumpet.” -l’oeil “. Godfall will be available for PS5 and PC on November 12th.
