This is not necessarily the best time to travel. But some still have to fly. OnePlus thinks of them by showing charging areas at certain airports on its smartphones.
OxygenOS, OnePlus’ software overlay, can detect when a user is near an airport to show them charging areas. This is useful for those who need to power their phone before boarding. Your phone will display a notification indicating the location of the charging location.
On OnePlus phones, there are two limitations to these cargo spaces. The first and last but not least is that this feature is currently only available in India. The second is that the phone will only show OnePlus cargo spaces. These have beacons that phones can use to geolocate them. The airport may therefore have other charging areas, but OnePlus will not notify the user about them.
This novelty is available at Kempegowda Airport and soon at Delhi Airport. OnePlus also states that its cargo holds support WARP Charge 30 technology.
Warnings are displayed on the following phones: OnePlus 7, OnePlus 8 and OnePlus Nord (with its variants). Support for OnePlus 6 will be available soon.
