SFR, Bouygues Telecom and Free already offer Amazon’s video streaming service for each of their boxes. One operator is missing: it’s orange. This will soon be history as Prime Video hits Liveboxes next month.
Customers with a Livebox first noticed a message announcing the imminent arrival of Prime Video. Orange has since confirmed to Satellifax that it has signed an agreement with Amazon to offer its service on its box in November.
The Prime Video app will automatically appear in Liveboxes next month. Those who already have a subscription can directly enter their credentials to connect and view the movies and series in the catalog. Otherwise, it is possible to subscribe directly from the Livebox at the same price as on the Amazon website.
Prime Video competes with Netflix, Disney +, and other video streaming services. Lots of people have access to it because they have Amazon Prime. For this service, free 24-hour delivery applies to all orders on Amazon. Amazon Prime happens to contain Prime Video, hence the interest in using it. Amazon Prime is available for € 5.99 / month or € 49 / year. There is a free month (three months for students).
