Xiaomi announces the arrival of the Mi 4K laser, a short-throw video projector, in France

The Mi 4K Laser Projector 150 is finally available in France. With this very short range projector, you can benefit from a very large viewable area (up to 150 inches) even though the projector is placed very close to the projection screen. The full HD version of this model has been available in France for several months. However, this time Xiaomi is submitting to the 4K standard, which is contemporary as the next generation consoles prepare to invade the stands (but be careful with entrance delays).

In terms of technical data, the Mi 4K Laser does not go into detail with its ALPD 3.0 projection system that enables a contrast of 3000: 1. The maximum brightness is 1600 lumens and HDR compatibility is guaranteed. In addition, laser video pros are much more durable than their DLP or LCD counterparts. “Lamps” can look over the distance for tens of thousands of hours. Thanks to a DMD 0.47 chip (basic definition x 4), the 4K display is actually simulated from a native Full HD definition. With regard to the audio part, we are entitled to two dual-frequency HP with a power of 30 watts and Dolby / DTS-HD compatibility.

The Mi 4K Laser runs on Android TV 9.0 (Google Assistant recognized). The Google Play Store is available, as is the Chromecast function. At the price offered by FNAC – ie 1999 euros for temporary advertising – this is a priori a very good offer for anyone who wants to benefit from a very large format advertisement at “content” prices.
